The end of year dates have been finalized for the 2023-2024 school year. Last day of student attendance will by Tuesday, May 21st.

All RCCU #1 schools will be in session on Thursday. RCELC, RCES, and RCMS will continue to be under a boil order. Bottled water will be provided for students and staff as needed, but students are encouraged to bring their own filled water bottles. Breakfast and lunch will be served with all necessary safety measures being taken. RCHS is not affected by the boil order.

The district telephone provider has experienced an outage. As a result, our phone system is currently down and cannot receive or make any calls . Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please make note of a change to the school calendar. There will be no school on Monday, April 8th due to the anticipated volume of extra traffic and people in the area for the solar eclipse.

Here are some upcoming school calendar events over the next few days. First, students will be dismissed 3 hours early on Thursday, February 15 for school improvement activities. In addition, there will be no school on Friday, February 16 due to parent/teacher conferences and Monday, February 19 for Presidents Day.

Each year Illinois schools are required to participate in a survey of learning conditions to provide valuable data on continuous school improvement. Second, students will be dismissed 3 hours early on Thursday, November 16 for school improvement activities and parent/teacher conferences and there will be no school on Friday, November 17. Finally, students will be released one hour early on Tuesday, November 21 and there will be no school on Wednesday, November 22 through Friday, November 24 for Thanksgiving break.
