Richland County Schools online registration for the 2024-2025 school year will begin on Monday, July 15 and run through July 22. You will be able to register your students by going to Skyward Family Access and entering your username and password. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, please contact your student’s school. Parents who do not have computer access or require assistance may come to the school on Thursday, July 18 between 10:00 am-6:00 pm. Thank you and have a great evening!

2024 ERFAE Teacher of the Year Awards Congratulations to Terry Puckett, Cindy Grundon, and Bryan Cummins! Thank you ERFAE Members, Krista Nealis and Mark Richardson, for presenting to our teachers!

RCCU1 will follow its regular dismissal schedule today. We have been and will continue to monitor the potential for severe weather this afternoon.

The end of year dates have been finalized for the 2023-2024 school year. Last day of student attendance will by Tuesday, May 21st.

All RCCU #1 schools will be in session on Thursday. RCELC, RCES, and RCMS will continue to be under a boil order. Bottled water will be provided for students and staff as needed, but students are encouraged to bring their own filled water bottles. Breakfast and lunch will be served with all necessary safety measures being taken. RCHS is not affected by the boil order.

The district telephone provider has experienced an outage. As a result, our phone system is currently down and cannot receive or make any calls . Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Kindergarten Screenings for the 2024-2025 school year.

Please make note of a change to the school calendar. There will be no school on Monday, April 8th due to the anticipated volume of extra traffic and people in the area for the solar eclipse.

Here are some upcoming school calendar events over the next few days. First, students will be dismissed 3 hours early on Thursday, February 15 for school improvement activities. In addition, there will be no school on Friday, February 16 due to parent/teacher conferences and Monday, February 19 for Presidents Day.

Each year Illinois schools are required to participate in a survey of learning conditions to provide valuable data on continuous school improvement. We are asking that one parent/guardian from each household take the short survey at the link below for each school in which they have a child attending. http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/
