The Board of Education of Richland County Community Unit No. 1, Counties of Richland, Wayne, Clay, Lawrence, and Jasper, Illinois, will receive sealed bids for the purchase of six (6) school buses.
Bidders shall submit detailed description and listing of standard equipment on units. Body and chassis must meet all specifications as stated. Specifications and bid forms may be picked up at the district office at 1100 E. Laurel St., Olney, IL 62450 or requested via email at clecrone@rccu1.net.
Bids shall be received by 9:00 a.m. on January 13, 2022 and will be opened at that time. Bids are to be made firm for 45 days, and will be acted upon by the Richland County Board of Education at its regular meeting to be held on January 20, 2022.
It is further understood that at its option, the Board may purchase less than the total number of units on which proposals are invited, or may reject any or all bids. The Board may also choose not to trade in any buses.
Delivery of new buses will not be accepted before July 1, 2022, but shall be received before August 1,
2022 or as soon thereafter as possible.
