Congratulations, Mr. Bussard
This is the image for the news article titled Congratulations, Mr. BussardCongratulations, Mr. Bussard!  The Wabash Valley Region of the Illinois Principals Association awarded Mr. Larry Bussard, Superintendent of Richland County CUSD #1 with the Stan Struckmeyer Award at their annual fall meeting on September 7, 2017.  This award is presented in honor of Stan Struckmeyer, who was the long-time principal of Edwards County High School.  Mr. Struckmeyer's career was shortened due to his battle with M.S.  The criteria for this year's award is consistent achievement.  Mr. Bussard began his career in education with the East Richland School District in 1989 as a Junior High Math and High School P.E. Teacher.  He advanced through the ranks as High School Assistant Principal, Athletic Director, High School Principal, Assistant Superintendent, and now Superintendent, being the first in the Richland County School District to achieve this process.  Thank you, Mr. Bussard for all your many years of service to the East Richland/Richland County School District and congratulations!
